macOS 27 or later

## The short version.

- Reach for the bar and everything comes back.
- Type a few letters and open any icon.
- Drag in the editor, then press Apply once.
- Or move icons right in the bar with ⌘.
- Give any app its own menu bar icon.
- Pick how icons come and go by watching them.
- Or open hidden icons in a panel under the bar.

## Hidden isn't gone.

Move toward the bar and everything slides back out, exactly where it was. Click what you came for. It tucks itself away again.

## Hidden icons, in a panel.

The feature you asked for most. Hidden icons open as tiles in a panel under the menu bar, the bar stays put. Each tile is a picture of the real icon, a click opens its real menu. Type to find one, press Return, esc closes it. A Didn't fit section keeps the icons macOS had no room for.

Pick where hidden icons open in Settings › Panel.

## A place for every icon.

Every icon lives in one of three sections, and you choose which.

- **Visible**: Always there when you need them.
- **Hidden**: Out of the way, back with a hover or a click.
- **Always Hidden**: Gone for good, unless you double-click or ⌥-click the chevron.

## Arrange it once.

Drag icons between Visible, Hidden and Always Hidden. Press Apply and one pass lays the bar out to match, or leave it and Dimble does it the next time you pause.

## Or just ⌘-drag.

Hold ⌘ and drag any icon across the chevron, right in the bar. Dimble adopts it into the section where you drop it.

## Launch anything.

Pick any app and Dimble gives it a menu bar icon. One click opens it, and it tucks away with the rest.

## Call any icon by name.

Press ⌥⌘K from any app and type a few letters. Dimble finds the icon, hidden or not, slides it out from under the chevron and opens it right where it lives. Press esc and it tucks back.

## Motion that feels native.

Watch each style play, then pick the one that suits you. Instant is a swap. Smooth slides the icons out from under the chevron. Fade brings them in place.

Choose your style in Settings › Behavior.

## Hidden, not moved.

macOS hides each icon right where it sits, so the bar you arranged is the bar you get back.

## Nothing to phone home about.

Dimble is a small, native Mac app that minds its own business, which is your menu bar and nothing else.

No account, no analytics, no server. The only connection it ever makes is checking for its own updates.
