Your menu bar,
calmer.

The icons you don't need tuck away and come back the instant you ask. Small, native, free.

Hidden icons, in a panel.

The feature you asked for most. Hidden icons open as tiles in a panel under the menu bar, the bar stays put. Each tile is a picture of the real icon, a click opens its real menu. Type to find one, press Return, esc closes it. A Didn't fit section keeps the icons macOS had no room for.

In the bar. They slide back out, exactly where they were.Under the bar. Tiles in a panel, the bar doesn't move. The same tiles, in one strip under the bar.

Pick where hidden icons open in Settings › Panel.

A place for every icon.

Every icon lives in one of three sections, and you choose which.

Visible

Always there when you need them.

Hidden

Out of the way, back with a hover or a click.

Always Hidden

Gone for good, unless you double-click or ⌥-click the chevron.

Arrange it once.

Drag icons between Visible, Hidden and Always Hidden. Press Apply and one pass lays the bar out to match, or leave it and Dimble does it the next time you pause.

Motion that feels native.

Watch each style play, then pick the one that suits you. Instant is a swap. Smooth slides the icons out from under the chevron. Fade brings them in place.

No animation. The icons are just there. The slide macOS already does, out from under the chevron. In place. Nothing moves, they simply appear.

Choose your style in Settings › Behavior.

Hidden, not moved.

macOS hides each icon right where it sits, so the bar you arranged is the bar you get back.

Nothing to phone home about.

Dimble is a small, native Mac app that minds its own business, which is your menu bar and nothing else.

No account, no analytics, no server. The only connection it ever makes is checking for its own updates.
